1. Introduction of Zinc Gluconate

It is a compound combining zinc with gluconic acid. It is white crystalline powder which is soluble in water and insoluble in ethonal.

2.Usage of Zinc Gluconate

It’s often used as a dietary supplement to treat for zinc deficiencies in the body. We all know zinc is an essential mineral that plays a crucial role in various bodily functions, including immune system support, wound healing, DNA synthesis, and cell division.

Zinc plays crucial role in human body,  it can promote human growth and development, improve the taste, improve intelligence, enhance sexual ability, regulate the immunity system, prevent infection and promote wound healing. Because its good solubility, it has a higher bioavailablity, about 1.6 times than zinc sulfate. Also because it can release zinc ions quickly in human body,  the zinc absorption rate is higher. However, because of the fast release rate, it may cause gastrointestinal irritation and discomfort.

Zinc gluconate is available in various forms, such as lozenges, tablets, or oral solutions, and is commonly used to reduce the severity and duration of cold symptoms when taken at the onset of illness. Also, we use this ingredient in some skincare products for its potential benefits in promoting skin health.

Always consult with a healthcare professional before starting any supplement regimen, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions or are taking medications, as excessive zinc intake can have adverse effects. Dosage and usage instructions may vary based on individual needs and health conditions.
